Hatch Lake offers anglers great structure for some of the best Walleye, Small mouth bass, Large mouth bass and Northern Pike fishing in Minnesota. There is also plenty of Sunfish, Bluegill and Crappie to be caught right off the docks.

Hunters will love the abundance of bear, deer, waterfowl and grouse found right here in the north woods.

The resort is located 38 miles NW of Grand Rapids, near the Edge of the Wilderness National Scenic Byway, State Hwy. 38. The Scenic Byway takes you thru some of the most breathtaking scenery in the state as it winds from Grand Rapids up past
the resort and ending in Effie - a 47 mile drive. Fall Color enthusiasts argue that the best time to travel the Scenic Byway is in mid-to-late September, when the fall colors are at their peak.
